Mascots (2020)
Character lineup/concept work for a show written by my friend Jim Graves in 2019. Mascots is about a trio of college students working at a local Canadian broadcast network making a children’s show. This would be an adult oriented program featuring the grimier sides of trying to prove your worth through small-town stardom. I also designed several Interior/Exterior layouts for this show as a part of the full pitch.
BAM! (2019)
Concept work for Bam! A show pitch that I solo wrote & illustrated in 2019. The show is about three teens growing up in the 80’s, Billy, Alice, & Maurice, their struggles through trying to start a music career, working at a pizza shop and trying to survive highschool. The style of the show features a lot of saturated colours and exaggerated cartoonish design.
Foxxy (2019)
Foxxy is a children’s book concept I illustrated for in 2019. The story is about a small fox on the day of her 5th birthday, and the trouble she gets into leading up to her party. As a part of this contract, I created a full character design, several pages of poses, designed several options for the cover of the book, & assisted on a storyboard outlining the illustrations for the whole story. working on this project made me appreciate the depth of work that goes into children’s print media from the early conceptual stages to writing, and trying to get published.
