Bam! (2019)
Concept work for Bam! A show pitch that I solo wrote & illustrated in 2019. The show is about three teens growing up in the 80’s, Billy, Alice, & Maurice, their struggles through trying to start a music career, working at a pizza shop and trying to survive highschool. The style of the show features a lot of saturated colours and exaggerated cartoonish design.
Mascots (2020)
Interior/Exterior concept work for a show written by my friend Jim Graves in 2019. Mascots is about a trio of college students working at a local Canadian broadcast network making a children’s show. This would be an adult oriented program featuring the grimier sides of trying to prove your worth through small town stardom. I also designed a full character lineup for this show as a part of the full pitch.
Mural (2020, 6’x4’, Acrylic on Canvas)
This was one of the largest (physically large) works I’ve taken on in my career. Working on this outdoor layout painting on a canvas larger than me challenged my skills in knowledge of colour, perspective, and my abilities in acrylic painting. I’m so happy with how the final piece turned out and how it looks in the owners home. Throughout the process I tried out a few different nature concepts.
House paintings (16 x 20 , Watercolor & Ink on Canvas)
My love of drawing houses became one of my main income sources of the past few years, I’ve gotten to draw houses all across North America. I love the whole process, from shaping the architecture with loose strokes of watercolour, to refining the special details of each home using ink pens. Almost all of these artworks have been commissioned as sentimental gifts.
